Dad's 80th Birthday

The next big event was my Dad's 80th birthday.  I told EVERYONE my dad was 80!!!  I'm sure that thrilled him, beyond belief.  But, the way I look at it, making it to 80 is an accomplish worth bragging about.  And, it called for a party.

Steve, Rebel, and the "kids" came down to join Joe and I and a couple of Dad's friends - their neighbors, Mike and Gaylen; and friends from many years ago, Bill & Judy Payne.  Barb even made it down from Illinois to celebrate.  We went to Shady Oaks - my dad's favorite BBQ joint.  After dinner, we had a little cake.  Mostly we just spent a little time together to wish a very Happy 80th Birthday to a very Special Dad!
