The "Godfather"

I mentioned a few months ago that we had gone to Illinois for Jordan's baptism, but at the time, I didn't have any pictures because I was the "photographer" for Matt and Kim. They later sent a few pictures, so I thought I'd post a few before I talk about Lilly's baptism.

Shortly after we returned from Europe, we headed to Illinois for another baptism. And, Joe, was honored to be the godfather. We had a little "trouble" with the priest. When we tried to take pictures, he told us that it was "time for prayer and he would let us know when it was time for pictures." Oops. So, while Mike and Amy got no pictures of the actual baptism, we did get a few pictures afterward.

I know that Joe feels very blessed and honored to be asked by each of his three brothers to be the godfather of one of their children. And with his cousin, Christi's son, he has 4 godchildren. That's a lot of religious responsibility. Good thing we consider him "St. Joseph."
